Mt. McSauba the ''Best Little Ski HIll in Michigan''
Mt. McSauba is owned and operated by the City of Charlevoix. Mt. McSauba is a day-use resort with no overnight accommodations; however, many visitors stay in nearby hotels, rental properties or second homes. The majority of users are local residents of Charlevoix County. Visitors from out of the area visit mostly on weekends and holiday periods. Currently, Mt. McSauba has four tow ropes with access to six groomed runs, and several smaller un-groomed trail runs. In the surrounding areas there are over 2 miles of groomed cross country ski trails, 80 acres for snowshoeing and hiking. Support facilities include a primary day lodge, rental shop, maintenance garage, and parking areas. There is a combination of day and night skiing throughout the week.
Mt. McSauba has a short runs with steep slopes. McSauba provides lessons for beginner, intermediate and advance skiers and snowboarders. Mt. McSauba has an extensive terrain park which caters to all levels of ability. Mt. McSauba is about children and family enjoying winter sports to their fullest.
From US 31 North: Turn Left onto Burns St. Continue straight onto MCSauba Road Follow for a mile. From US 31 South: Turn right onto Mercer Rd, Turn left onto Waller Rd, then Right onto McSauba Rd.
