=Learn a new oil painting technique with Glenda Conlan! Theorem painting is the art of cutting stencils and using them to create paintings on velvet fabric or paper using oil or watercolor paints. Velvet painting became popular in the 1800s as an alternative to embroidery. In this class participants will create their own painting using oil paints on velvet and receive step-by-step instruction and learn new skills from local artist and maker Glenda Conlan! All materials are provided, students need to bring their own exacto knife with new blades. Please bring a beverage and lunch with you!
