The Charlevoix DDA is sponsoring the Small Business Saturday shop local campaign this year, started by American Express in 2010.  American Express will support Small Business Saturday with national advertising and public relations highlighting the importance of supporting small businesses and driving consumers to shop at small businesses on Saturday, November 29th. 

The Charlevoix DDA is using Small Business Saturday as a way to kick off the holiday season and to promote shopping local. Shoppers can pick up a local passport at City Hall, the Charlevoix Public Library, the Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce or any participating downtown retailer.  Spend $10 or more in six downtown stores from November 29th - December 22nd and get your downtown passport stamped for a chance to win $250 from the DDA and free parking in Downtown Charlevoix for one year from the Charlevoix Police Department!  Stay tuned for more information.
