Event Description:
The American premiere of its “final cut” for the feature documentary on “Young Hemingway & His Enduring Eden.” The film was recently screened in Paris, France, for attendees of the biennial international Hemingway Society conference. Producer George Colburn said he felt Horton Bay was the appropriate place to begin its U.S. run because scholars in his film agreed that the Bay Township village in Charlevoix County “was the place he loved before any other…and continued to love throughout his life.” The screening is sponsored by the Charlevoix County History Preservation Society (CCHPS).
