Event Description:
6th Annual Antique Bridal Gown and Quilt Display will be on exhibit at Castle Farms June 18-24. Visitors touring the Castle for historic tours will be able to view more than 25 wedding gowns, the earliest dating back to 1758, and from 1800 through each consecutive decade through present day. Accompanying the bridal gowns is an equally resplendent exhibit of nearly twenty handmade quilts. The oldest, a whole cloth quilt in vibrant colors of red and cream from Maryland, dates back to 1800-1830. Castle Farms? 6th Annual Antique Bridal Gown and Quilt Display can be viewed by visitors taking a historic self-guided or guided tour.
